Unwavering Love

What does this actually mean to have unwavering love?!

I believe I just witnessed it. I just watched a couple, the woman using a walker very slowly, while the man walked right beside her. He kept her exact pace up and down a long sidewalk lined with white roses. I can only imagine that she likes to get exercise there with the smell and beauty of the roses, whilst ignoring the concrete jungle around her. This is not a nice neighborhood by any stretch, but it appears to be their spot to roam. She stops every once in a while to smell the roses and touch and he waits calmly each time…letting her get what she needs from the moments. And there it is my friends- my view of unwavering love is allowing, even fostering your partner to get their needs met. It is only when we are getting our needs met that we can be our best for them as well. This reciprocal fostering of each other’s needs to me is unwavering love and a beautiful form of human expression.
